Season 1 was premiered on 9-25-2006 with the opening episode ‘(Volume One: Genesis) In His Own Image’. As the season begins, a special group of people finds that they’re having some special capabilities. The season goes on as the above discovery effects their professional and personal lives. A geneticist, Mohinder Suresh, continues his father’s research on the issue of source of biological change. People discover that they can fly, heal rapidly and even can change the future and can read the minds of other people. The way through which all they got their super powers is a mystery and how will they use their powers is completely up to them. Throughout the season, activities of serial killer Sylar and mobster Mr. Linderman affect the characteristics of the season straightly and also indirectly. Apart from the problems being faced, the obvious goal of this group of people is to save the world. Season finale ‘How To Stop an Exploding Man’ was aired on 5-21-2007. Season first was consisted of the first volume: Genesis.
