Season 2
Initially, second season was planned for 24 episodes but due to WGA writers’ strike only 11 episodes of the season are aired. Second season was consisted of the second volume: Generation. As Heroes season starts, everyone is trying to return to normal life instead of a life with super abilities. Only Sylar wants to retrieve his abilities. The central point of the season was ‘Shanti Virus’ for which the company is researching. Peter Petrelli, an amnesiac discovers potential devastation of the virus in New York. Two new characters were also introduced: Maya and Alejandro who come from Honduras to the United States. Monica Dawson is discovering for her powers with the help of his cousin. Hiro travels to Feudal Japan and meets his childhood hero, Takezo Kensei. Season was premiered on 9-24-2007 and the opening episode was ‘Four Months Later’. Season’s ending episode ‘Powerless’ was aired on 12-3-2007.
